Spring Omaha Wedding at Creighton St. John’s
Embassy Suites, Old Market, Omaha Wedding Reception
What a BLAST this day was! Kristen and Greg are the luckiest cats in town…the most fantastic and joyous families…the most supportive and loving friends. I can’t say enough about them!
The day started out nice and easy with the normal to-do’s, however Kristen’s room was overtaken with little love notes left by Greg, including a pretty serious timeline of the day. It was a hoot!
Their ceremony at St. John’s Parish on the Creighton campus was wonderful. Personal, thoughtful, and performed by Kristen’s family friend and priest from back home in South Dakota. There were tears of joy, huge bouts of laughter, leaps of excitement…it was fantastic. These two are smitten with each other and couldn’t have been more excited to get married.
Post-ceremony their bridal party went to the Crescent Moon to conquer the boot…er…boots. Now, typically when one bridal party runs into another bridal party, it turns a bit into the Omaha version of West Side Story. Not with this crew…they congratulated each other, they posed for photos with each other…they had chugging contests together. Obviously, “we won”. NBD.
We finished up the evening with a beautiful reception at the Embassy Suites downtown in the Old Market. Sweet toasts, tear-jerking first dances, and the best dance party in town. I was GIDDY watching everyone dance and swing each other around! This was just the greatest group, and I’m so happy we got to be a part of it!
Kristin and Greg…you guys are a riot together. You’re going to have a wild, adventurous life ALWAYS and I love that about you guys. Congratulations!
